Mac Jobs

I can tolerate not getting a raise. The bigger problem is that technology isn't improving. The so-called simple labor layer is forced to do the same job that doesn't change even after 10 or 20 years. This is a problem, and when you become middle-aged in this state, it's game over (for me). In America, such jobs are called Mac Jobs. Certainly, whether you work at a McDonald's part-time job for 10 years or 20 years, there is no difference in skills. Even at the age of 55, it is equivalent to a high school student's part-time job. Currently, I am unemployed and have no income, but I am compiling materials related to pigeons on a daily basis. I think of it as branding for myself. Whether this pigeon activity will lead to the future is completely unknown, but at least I think that there is a future rather than doing simple labor. Jobs without development not only pay low wages, but also do not grow even if you continue to do them, and in fact, they only take away your time and close off your future. To tell you the harsh reality, being unemployed still has the possibility of the future. If it is simple labor, someday, suddenly, machines will be introduced, and there will be nothing but "Okay, it's over." Considering various options such as employment insurance, vocational training schools, and even public assistance, it feels dangerous without utilizing the country's systems to the fullest and starting to move in some way. The ship called Japan is about to sink now.
